Public Works Department (PWD) Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Daryav Singh Parmar, posted in Betul district, died in a road accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Dewas district on Friday afternoon. He was on his way to Dhar to bring back his family when his Bolero vehicle reportedly went out of control and crashed into a roadside concrete wall and iron structure. He sustained severe head and chest injuries in the collision. Following the accident, local residents rushed to the spot and helped shift the injured officer to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Kannod. Doctors examined him and declared him dead. Colleagues and departmental staff expressed deep grief over his sudden demise. Survived by Wife and Two Children Parmar is survived by his wife, a seven-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter. His family has been informed about the accident. At the time of filing the report, family members had not yet reached Kannod. Police begin investigation Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the accident. The post-mortem examination will be conducted in Kannod, after which the body will be handed over to the family.
