Man murders female business partner in Jabalpur:Accused shoots himself too; both opened beauty parlour in partnership

On Monday afternoon, an incident of murder and suicide came to light in Jabalpur. A young man shot his female business partner and then shot himself. Both died on the spot. Initial investigation has revealed a dispute over business and financial transactions. The incident occurred near Raju Duplex in the Gorakhpur police station area. The deceased have been identified as Shakti Kohli and Deepesh Rathore. Both had recently started a beauty parlor center in partnership. According to police, on Monday afternoon, Shakti was present in her room. During this time, Deepesh arrived there. An argument broke out between the two over some matter. As the dispute escalated, Deepesh shot Shakti with a pistol. She died on the spot from the gunshot wound. Fired on himself too, died on the spot After shooting the woman, Deepesh shot himself with the same weapon. Hearing the sound of gunfire, people from nearby reached the spot and informed the police. When police and senior officers reached the spot, both were found dead. Police have sealed the crime scene. The FSL team is collecting evidence. Police seized both their mobiles Weapons and other materials have been seized from the spot. Police are examining both their mobile phones and other documents. Officials say that all aspects of the case are being investigated. Clear information about the reasons for the incident will only come to light after the investigation. Relatives said – Criminal cases were registered against the youth Shakti Rathore’s brother-in-law, Sharad Jatav, said that Deepesh Rathore previously ran a furniture business. He had gained Shakti’s trust by saying that he would create an attractive interior design for the beauty parlor and make it the best parlor in Jabalpur. During this time, a partnership was formed between the two. For the past 6 to 7 months, meetings have been happening continuously regarding business. Later, when information about Deepesh Rathore was gathered, it was found that he had a criminal record. He had even been to jail in a rape case. After this, Shakti realized that Deepesh was not the right person. He had started distancing himself from him.
