MY hospital in Indore has taken action after a video showed an 11-year-old child being pushed on a stretcher. Dean Dr Arvind Ghanghoria issued show-cause notices to two doctors, deducted seven days’ salary of one doctor and one day’s salary of three nursing officers. The services of the Security In-charge and Help Desk In-charge have also been terminated. According to Dr Ghanghoria, notices have been served to Superintendent Dr Ashok Yadav and Associate Professor Dr Paresh Sodhia. Seven days’ salary of Senior Resident Dr Anurag Srivastava has been deducted. The hospital has also imposed a fine of ₹1 lakh on outsourced agency HLL over the incident. Video went viral on June 7 11-year-old Adarsh Malak is suffering from a rare disease and a severe neurological problem. His parents had been treating him at MY Hospital for 15 days, but he was referred to a Super Specialty Hospital. It is alleged that the hospital did not arrange for an ambulance and staff on time. Adarsh cannot tolerate heat According to family members, Adarsh feels more heat than normal children. He sweats very little, due to which he cannot tolerate the heat. For this reason, his mother kept a water-soaked dupatta on his body throughout the journey to provide him relief. Adarsh suffers from a rare disease According to medical documents, Adarsh Malak suffers from a rare disease called Hypohidrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia. In this disease, sweat glands do not develop normally. The patient sweats very little or not at all. It also affects the development of hair, teeth, and skin. Adarsh is 11 years old, but his physical development is significantly less compared to normal children. His weight is not increasing as expected. His milk teeth have also not completely fallen out.
