Madhya Pradesh Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar will lay the foundation stone for development projects worth around ₹4.14 crore across several areas of Gwalior on Monday, June 1. He will also inspect ongoing works and welfare schemes in Ward No. 1 and interact with local residents. According to the schedule, the minister will begin at 10 am in Birla Nagar’s 50 Quarters area, where he will inaugurate a ₹2-crore sewer line project from JC Mill Gate to Char Shahar Ka Naka. The project is expected to strengthen the area’s sewage infrastructure. At 11 am, Tomar will visit Rameshwari Nagar in Ward No. 8 to lay the foundation stone for a ₹30-lakh cement concrete road near Virendra Singh Sikarwar’s flour mill. CC Road and Drain to be Built at a Cost of 24 Lakhs At noon, the minister will attend a programme in the Laxman Talaiya area, where foundation stones will be laid for CC road and drain construction works worth ₹24 lakh in lanes stretching from Dongarpur Upadhyay Sadan to Hanuman Temple. The event will be held at the ground opposite Fort View School. Later, at 5 pm, Tomar will inaugurate a ₹1.60-crore sewer line project on both sides of the road divider from Sant Kripal Singh Ashram to Bahodapur. The programme will be held at Sant Kripal Singh Ashram Tiraha. Will interact with local citizens After the day’s events, the minister will visit Ward No. 1 at 7:30 pm to inspect development works. He will tour Bajrang Colony, Gupteshwar Colony and Hotam Singh Ka Pura, review the implementation of public welfare schemes and directly interact with residents to hear their concerns and suggestions. Preparations for the minister’s visit have been completed in the concerned areas.
