Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has documented his 35-year-long association and experiences with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a new book. The book, titled “Apnapan: Narendra Modi Sang Mere Anubhav” (Affection: My Experiences With Narendra Modi), will be released on May 26 at 10:30 am at the NASC Complex in Pusa, Delhi. Former vice president and former PM to attend launch The book launch ceremony will be attended by former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu and former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda. Chief ministers from nearly a dozen states, including Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan, are also expected to attend the event. All National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs have been invited. Invitations have also been sent to leaders from opposition parties, including Congress MP Shashi Tharoor. Experiences from 1991 unity march included Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the book is more than just a publication for him and reflects the warmth and closeness he experienced while working alongside Narendra Modi over the years. The book includes experiences dating back to the 1991 Ekta Yatra led by Murli Manohar Joshi, during which Narendra Modi was serving as the organisational in-charge. ‘Book will inspire youth,’ says Shivraj According to Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the book is especially aimed at inspiring young people. He said it highlights lessons in discipline, dedication, sacrifice and building strong human connections to achieve larger goals. The book also focuses on Prime Minister Modi’s leadership style, governance approach, public service and policymaking from a personal perspective.
