Cruise accident sparks protest in Bhopal:Congress workers surround Tourism Minister’s bungalow; take out 13 symbolic funerals

13 people have died by drowning in the cruise accident that occurred at Bargi Dam in Jabalpur. Blaming Tourism Minister Dharmendra Lodhi for this incident, Youth Congress workers took out a funeral procession in Bhopal on Sunday. As soon as Youth Congress workers moved forward from Jawahar Bal Bhawan, the police tried to stop them by barricading in front of Prakash Taran Pushkar, but the Youth Congress workers did not relent and started pushing and shoving. In this funeral procession, led by Youth Congress District President Amit Khatri and State Vice President Abhishek Parmar, a symbolic funeral procession of 11 bodies was taken out. During the protest, Youth Congress workers started throwing sticks and poles from the symbolic coffins towards the barricade. The police initially tried to reason with them, but when the workers did not comply, the police used mild force to disperse the Youth Congress members.
