After a video of this incident surfaced, questions are being raised about the functioning of the health department. According to information, on Friday evening, 32-year-old Rahul Burman, a resident of Karela village near Khitauli on the Umaria-Barhi Road, was hit by an unknown vehicle. Rahul suffered serious head injuries. He was first taken to Barhi Community Health Center with the help of Dial 112. After initial treatment at Barhi, considering Rahul’s critical condition, doctors referred him to Katni District Hospital. While being brought from Barhi to Katni, due to pain and injury, patient Rahul vomited out of the ambulance window. Woman seen cleaning ambulance in video It is alleged that as soon as the ambulance (number CG 04 NV 6385) reached the district hospital, employee Mohit Nayak pressured the patient’s wife to clean the ambulance. In the video that surfaced, the patient’s wife can be seen cleaning the ambulance by pouring water. According to eyewitnesses, during this time the ambulance staff remained insensitive and did not help the woman at all. Then referred to Jabalpur After initial treatment at Katni District Hospital, Rahul’s condition deteriorated further, following which he has been referred to Jabalpur Medical College for better treatment. CMHO first denied, then said ‘will conduct investigation The initial statement of Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Raj Singh Thakur on this entire matter was controversial. He said that bleeding probably occurred in the ambulance, which the woman must have cleaned. However, later Dr. Thakur has said that such an act will not be denied. A detailed investigation will be conducted after talking to the ambulance manager.
