Man’s obscene video turns out honey trap in Rewa:Couple booked; absconding after demanding ₹5 lakh blackmail money

In Mauganj district, the viral obscene video of a former district vice-president has turned out to be a honey trap. Police registered an FIR against the accused woman and her husband on Friday evening. According to police, the couple drugged the leader and made a video of physical relations. After this, they demanded Rs 5 lakh while blackmailing him. Currently, both accused are absconding. Police are continuously conducting raids to search for them. Dainik Bhaskar had already suspected a honey trap in the case. Police have now confirmed this. Screenshot shared on social media account Actually, on April 17, the accused woman had shared a screenshot of the video on her social media account. After this, Bhaskar exposed the entire honey trap conspiracy by bringing the exclusive video to light. The administration took action on this and SDOP Sachi Pathak took cognizance and registered a case. Identification happened at cafe, recording done with spy camera The accused woman used to run a cafe in front of the police control room, which opened on December 25. However, this cafe was closed in February. During visits to this place, the accused woman became acquainted with the former district president. After this, the couple hatched a conspiracy to trap the leader and recorded a video of physical relations using a spy camera. Police are now investigating who installed the camera and how?
