According to her family, she had failed in three subjects in her Class 12 exams, the results of which were declared a day before the incident. Family members said she had been under depression since the results were announced. Khushi was a student at a private school in the area. Her father works in the scrap business, and she is survived by a younger brother. Family tried to counsel her The family said Khushi was crying on the day the results were declared. They tried to console her and encouraged her to work harder and reappear for the exams. They added that several other students from her school had also performed poorly, but Khushi remained deeply distressed after the results.
