4 women die in Sheopur tractor mishap:28 injured as trolley overturns, several critical

At least four women were killed and 28 others injured after a tractor trolley overturned in the Vijaypur area of Sheopur district on Thursday night. The accident occurred near Khitrapal village when members of the Gurjar community were travelling from Ghughs village in Veerpur to Parvati Baroda for a traditional ceremony. Rescue operations and officials at spot All injured persons were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Upon receiving information, police and administrative officials reached the spot. Former Forest Minister Ramniwas Rawat, SDM Abhishek Mishra, and TI Rajan Gurjar were present at the scene. With the help of local residents, the injured were rescued from beneath the overturned tractor and taken to hospitals by ambulance. Speeding suspected as cause Preliminary investigation suggests that overspeeding and loss of balance led to the accident. Authorities have launched a detailed probe to ascertain the exact cause.
