Prominent Indore builder receives ransom threat:Accused posing as Harry Boxer from Lawrence Gang warns, ‘Give ₹5 crore, or I’ll shoot your son’

A prominent builder in Indore’s affluent Racecourse Road area has received threats in the name of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. A person identifying himself as Harry Boxer has demanded a ransom of 5 crore rupees from the builder. The accused has threatened to shoot the builder’s son, claiming to have his exact location, if the money is not paid. Panic Created Through WhatsApp Call and Voice Message According to Crime Branch DCP Rajesh Tripathi, a WhatsApp call came to builder Vivek Dammani’s office number on Tuesday morning around 10:30 AM. The call was received by a female staff member at the office. The caller said – Tell Vivek Dammani to give 5 crores, otherwise I will have his son shot anywhere. He also said that going to the police won’t help and he will only back off after getting the money. The accused claimed that he has the real-time location of the builder and his son at all times. Initially, the staff thought it was a joke, but when a threatening voice message came from the same number, panic spread throughout the office. After this, the staff immediately informed the builder. Harry Boxer is a close associate of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang The matter was reported to the Crime Branch, after which an FIR was registered and investigation was initiated. The Harry Boxer whose name has been mentioned is considered to be a close associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. The police are now tracking the IP address of that number and voice message. Builders have received threats before as well This is not the first time in Indore that a big businessman has received such a threat. About a month ago, Tukoganj builder Sanjay Jain had also received a similar threat. In that case, the police had caught a youth named Manish from Ashok Nagar, but could not reach the main mastermind. In Madhya Pradesh, more than 5 cases of demanding ransom in the name of Lawrence Gang have come to light in recent times. In the matter, the Crime Branch says that they are seriously investigating these calls and are alert regarding the builder’s security.
