Amidst the rising heat in Madhya Pradesh, a young man’s unique innovation in Jabalpur has become a topic of discussion. With temperatures crossing 40 degrees Celsius, people are looking for ways to beat the heat, and in this context, 25-year-old Deepak Kewat from Rithori village has surprised everyone by creating a roof of leaves on his bike. To protect himself from the heat wave and harsh sunlight, Deepak has prepared a temporary roof on top of his bike using jamun and mango leaves. It took him about five hours to make it. Deepak works in a private job and travels 50 to 60 kilometers daily on his bike. He explained that despite wearing a helmet and covering his face with cloth, he was not getting relief from the heat. During this time, while sitting at home, this idea came to him, after which he prepared this innovation. The special thing is that before going out, he sprinkles water on the leaves, which gives a feeling of cool air and reduces the effect of the sun. Deepak says that he does not have enough money to buy a car, so he has adopted this kind of solution. His unique innovation has now become a topic of discussion among people. Stretcher made from wood Deepak says that before making the roof of leaves, a stretcher was made. Wood was tied around all four sides of the bike and then a net of rope was made on top of it and leaves were laid. Care has also been taken to ensure that the leaves don’t fly away while riding the bike. Deepak says that initially the villagers were laughing seeing this, but now those same people are saying that they will also install it on their bikes in the same way. Deepak told that this roof installed on the bike is in the shape of a canopy, when the villagers gave it this name, we also said that this name would be appropriate. Deepak says that when these leaves dry up in four to five days, the leaves will be replaced. Monkey is Deepak’s friend A friend monkey always stays with Deepak. He told that at the beginning of summer, he and his companion monkey also fell ill. To prevent both from getting sunstroke, this arrangement has also been made. Now both roam together, there is no tension of sun, nor of heat.
