Three police personnel created a ruckus while allegedly intoxicated at Sanjay Gandhi Medical College Hospital in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, on Monday. One of them was seen urinating in a hospital dustbin, making patients in the ward uncomfortable. A video of the incident has surfaced. Head constable Udayraj Singh, constable Manish Tiwari and ASI Narmada Prajapati, posted in the Sidhi police line, were on duty to guard a sick prisoner. However, all three were found under the influence of alcohol. The prisoner was referred from Sidhi to Rewa The prisoner, Lallu Saket, a resident of Gopalpur, was lodged in Sidhi district jail. He was first admitted to Sidhi district hospital after falling ill and was later referred to Rewa due to his critical condition. The three policemen were deployed for his security and brought him to Rewa hospital around 10 pm on Sunday, where he was admitted. Created ruckus in the hospital in the morning Around 5 am on Monday, the three policemen were seen intoxicated and began creating a disturbance in the hospital. In the video, Udayraj Singh was seen lying on a patient’s bed, while Manish Tiwari was seen urinating in a dustbin. The incident continued for nearly two hours, causing inconvenience to patients and their attendants. Sidhi police called back all three personnel Sidhi police recalled all three personnel from duty. They have been replaced by another police team. Officials said that if the allegations are proven true, strict disciplinary action will be taken against them. Hospital Superintendent Rahul Mishra confirmed that a constable was seen urinating inside the premises. He said an inquiry has been initiated based on the video and a detailed report will be submitted after investigation.
