A history-sheeter’s house was set on fire following a gang rivalry in Ujjain. Members of a rival gang poured petrol on the house, set it ablaze, and fled the spot. The incident took place on the night of April 11 in the Dhacha Bhavan area. CCTV footage of the incident surfaced on Monday, showing miscreants standing outside Raunak Gurjar’s house. They can be seen carrying knives and other weapons, while some of their associates are sitting on two-wheelers nearby. One of the attackers poured petrol from a bottle onto the house, while another ignited it. Within moments, the house was engulfed in flames. Chimanganj Mandi police station in-charge, TI Vivek Kanodiya, said that the accused are being identified based on CCTV footage and will be arrested soon. According to sources, more than 12 miscreants involved in the arson are members of Yashvendra alias Chhambu Bundela’s gang. The act was carried out due to old enmity.
