The effect of inflation in Indore has now started reaching common kitchens. Milk prices will increase from April 1, which will directly affect the pockets of common consumers. Milk that is currently available at ₹60 per liter will now be available at ₹63 to 65 per liter. In Indore, milk will become expensive by ₹3 per liter, while in Dhar the increase has been made up to ₹4 per liter. According to Bharat Mathurawala, President of MP Milk Vendors Federation, prices will also be increased in other cities of the state, including Bhopal, Gwalior, Dewas, Ujjain, Badwah, Jabalpur, and other cities. Here, the increase will be from ₹2 to ₹4. The federation says that if the prices of animal feed like cotton cake, fodder, and hay continue to rise, prices may be reconsidered in the future. Sanchi’s prices currently stable While private milk vendors have increased prices, Sanchi has not yet taken any decision to increase milk prices.
