Headless body of 60-year-old woman found in Rewa:Police identify deceased as Leela Patel from Lohee village; probe underway

A 60-year-old woman was found dead with her head severed in Rewa district on Monday afternoon. The incident occurred in Lohee village, which falls under the Bichhiya police station jurisdiction. According to the police, the body was found separated from the head, which has not yet been recovered. Family claims head was taken by suspects Neeta Patel, daughter of the deceased, said her mother lived alone. She received news from neighbours that her mother had been brutally murdered. She added that the suspects also took her mother’s head with them. Neeta expressed shock, stating that her mother had no known enemies, and demanded a thorough investigation and swift arrest of the culprits.
