Congress says crowd at CM rally gathered under pressure:Shares Mohkhed CEO’s letter; questions cruelty towards public

The accident after CM Mohan Yadav’s rally in Chhindwara has become a political issue. The letter, issued by DK Karpati, CEO of Janpad Panchayat Mohkhed, instructed Gram Panchayat secretaries and employment assistants to bring as many villagers as possible to the rally, ensure food arrangements, and warned of action for negligence. Reports say Madhukar Wankhede, secretary of Gwara Gram Panchayat, brought villagers under this order and died in the accident while returning.
