Muslims join Hindu devotees in Ram Navami procession in Khargone:Communal harmony in display, as they shower flower petals and exchange greetings

On Thursday, Khargone witnessed vibrant celebrations of Ram Navami as the Raghuwanshi community took out a grand procession to mark Lord Ram’s birth anniversary. The procession began from Pahadsinhpura at 9 am and saw enthusiastic participation. In a display of communal harmony, members of the Muslim community, along with people from other communities, showered flowers on the procession. A grand aarti was performed at 12 noon, followed by a community feast. Meanwhile, another procession featuring 15 tableaux will be taken out at 2 pm on Friday by the Shri Ram Janmotsav Committee. In view of the event, the police have put in place strict security arrangements. Procession started from Kalash Chowk temple at 9 am The Raghuvanshi community procession began from Kalash Chowk Temple in Pahadsinghpura at 9 AM on Thursday. The procession was led by society president Deepak Dandir and other representatives. During this, devotees chanted Lord Ram’s slogans and performed group dances to devotional songs. The procession was welcomed at various points along the route. A grand aarti was organized at 12 noon followed by distribution of prasad to the devotees. Muslim community set example of harmony by showering flowers A unique example of communal harmony was witnessed during this procession taken out in the city. Members of the Muslim community also came forward to welcome the procession and showered flowers on it. People from other communities in the city also welcomed the procession at various places, spreading a message of brotherhood. Procession with 15 tableaux to be taken out on Friday On the occasion of Ram Navami, a procession will also be taken out in the city from 2 PM on Friday by the Shri Ram Janmotsav Committee Protection Committee. This procession will include 15 tableaux and dhol-tasha-nagada groups. This procession will start from Bhola Chowk and reach the Shri Ram Temple at the bus stand, where it will conclude with a grand aarti. Looking at this upcoming procession and crowd, police have made strict security arrangements in the city.
