Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav visited Bhader in Datia district on Tuesday and announced major development works for the region. He performed the Bhoomipujan and inauguration of 10 projects worth more than Rs 62 crore. During the visit, he also met farmers in the fields and encouraged them to use modern farming techniques. As per the schedule, the Chief Minister reached the helipad on Berch Road by helicopter at 2:22 PM. On his way to the Mandi premises, he stopped at a farmer’s field in Bichhreta village, where he saw a straw reaper machine in operation. The Chief Minister sat on a tractor and spoke directly with farmers, taking details about crop management. After this interaction, he went to the Mandi premises, where he received a grand welcome. Said – Government committed to overall development At the program venue, the Chief Minister observed the exhibitions of various departments and distributed benefits of government schemes to beneficiaries. Addressing the public gathering, he said that the state government is committed to the overall development of farmers, youth, and women. He appealed to farmers not to burn stubble and to use scientific techniques like super seeders, which would help in environmental protection and maintain soil fertility. Also laid the foundation stone for two new projects Among the major projects inaugurated by the Chief Minister were the Science Building and Canteen at PG College Datia, Sandipani Utkrisht Vidyalaya Bhader, Tatarpur Stadium, a new office building in Police Line, and rest houses near Pandokhar Dham and Ramgarh Mata Temple. Additionally, a pilgrim residence will be constructed under the Mata Ratangarh scheme. Apart from this, the foundation stone was laid for two new projects costing more than 7 crore rupees – an electrical substation at Ratangarh Mata Temple and the construction of a hostel in Bhader. These projects are expected to strengthen education, tourism, and infrastructure facilities. The administration had made extensive preparations for the event. Administrative officials, including Collector Swapnil Wankhede and SP Suraj Verma, were engaged in monitoring the arrangements throughout.
