On the Rau-Khalghat four-lane in Mhow, a speeding out-of-control car crossed the divider and collided with a pickup vehicle. In this head-on collision, the car driver died on the spot while his wife and two daughters were injured. Meanwhile, the pickup caught fire. The accident occurred on Monday evening, around 5 PM, in front of Shakti Cold Store in the Badgonda police station area. The affected family is from Maheshwar and was going to Indore for some work. The deceased has been identified as Krishnapal Singh Tomar, who was a teacher in a government school. The injured include Krishnapal’s wife, Mithlesh, and daughters Shobhana Tomar and Bhavana Tomar. A video of the car crossing the divider has also emerged. Car swerved while trying to save cow Eyewitness Vijay Thakur said that the car was moving at high speed in its lane. Suddenly, a cow came in front, while trying to save it, the car went into the other lane and collided with an oncoming pickup. The collision was so intense that the pickup vehicle caught fire. Meanwhile, Ravi Thakur and Dharmendra Thakur said that after the accident, three women and one man were trapped inside the car. Villagers who gathered at the spot managed to get everyone out after much effort. By then, the car driver had died. Pickup driver says, ‘Could not understand anything’ Pickup driver Brajesh Yadav and cleaner Sudhir Kumar said that we were coming from Lucknow to Khalghat to get vegetables. Suddenly, the car came in front of our vehicle. We could not understand anything, and the collision occurred. Badgonda police station in-charge Prakash Vaskale said that the three women have been referred to Indore in serious condition. A case has been registered, and an investigation has begun.
