Madhya Pradesh has delivered its best-ever performance in the latest Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) results, marking a significant milestone for the state. Out of the total 958 candidates selected this year, 61 are from Madhya Pradesh—an all-time high for the state. Notably, 16 of these successful candidates have studied in government colleges and universities, indicating a positive shift in the selection trend. Sharp rise in three years The state’s performance has improved rapidly over the past three years. In 2023, only 29 candidates from Madhya Pradesh were selected. This number rose to 53 in 2024 and has now reached 61, effectively doubling within three years. Madhya Pradesh also made a strong mark among the top rankers this year. Ishan Bhatnagar secured the 5th rank nationally, while Prakshal Secretary achieved the 8th rank. Honouring ceremony in Bhopal today All selected candidates have been invited to Bhopal on Monday for a felicitation ceremony at the Kushabhau Thakre Convention Center. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will interact with the candidates during the event. Final-year students have also been invited to attend, giving them an opportunity to directly learn from successful candidates. According to ACS Anupam Rajan, the aim of this interaction is to allow toppers to share their experiences and guide the next generation in their preparation journey.
