On the occasion of World Water Day, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal, will host a special discussion titled ‘Jal Par Charcha’ on March 22. The event will center around the theme “Viksit Bharat 2047 and Water Management,” bringing together experts, researchers and students to deliberate on key water-related challenges. The core message of the program is “Where Water Flows, Equality Grows,” emphasizing equitable distribution and sustainable use of water resources. Raising acwareness on water risis The initiative aims to highlight pressing concerns such as water scarcity, declining groundwater levels and future challenges. Organizers hope to promote water conservation as a mass movement within society. The event is being organized by the Department of Civil Engineering at MANIT, focusing on efficient utilization, conservation and fair distribution of water resources. Experts to address key issues The inaugural session will be attended by: Chief Guest: Dr. Karunesh Kumar Shukla, Director of MANIT Special guests The session will be chaired by Dr. M.S. Chauhan, Head of the Department. Experts believe that water management is not just a technical issue but is deeply linked to social equity.
