Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister Jagdish Devda, and Minister Krishna Gaur visited Betul on Saturday to express condolences over the death of Surbhi Khandelwal, daughter of BJP state president Hemant Khandelwal. The leaders reached the Khandelwal residence in the Ganj area and met family members to convey their sympathies. CM arrives by helicopter, meets family CM Yadav arrived in Betul by helicopter and went to the Khandelwal residence to personally meet the bereaved family. Expressing grief over Surbhi’s demise, he said he had come to convey his condolences and support the family in this difficult time.
The Chief Minister noted that Surbhi had been suffering since childhood and said Hemant Khandelwal had taken great care of her. “Even when a family member has been suffering for long, their loss still brings immense pain,” he said, adding that he prayed to Baba Mahakal for peace and liberation for the departed soul. Devda arrived by road and offered prayers for the peace of the departed soul while extending support and condolences to the grieving family. Leaders from across the state visit Betul Following Surbhi Khandelwal’s passing, leaders from across Madhya Pradesh have been visiting Betul to offer condolences. On Saturday as well, several state ministers, public representatives, BJP leaders, and party workers continued to arrive at the Khandelwal residence to pay tribute to Surbhi and express their support to the bereaved family. Local administration made arrangements for security and helipad facilities during the visits.
