The incident occurred on the Garib Rath Express (12536) travelling from Raipur to Lucknow. Following complaints from passengers, the RPF registered a case against the three under Section 145 of the Railway Act. Incident occurred near Satna The incident took place around 9 pm on Thursday in the G-1 AC coach, near berth number 16, shortly before the train reached Satna. According to reports, one of the youths covered his head with a railway-issued bedsheet and began dancing in the middle of the coach aisle while the train was moving. Women accompanying him started recording the performance on their mobile phones. Within moments, two other youths joined him, also covering themselves with the same bedsheet and dancing along. Passage blocked for three minutes The three youths continued dancing together under the same sheet for around three minutes, blocking the aisle of the coach. Due to the obstruction, other passengers faced difficulty moving through the passage. Several passengers in the coach expressed their annoyance at the disruption. At the time, a family of eight to ten members was also travelling in the same coach. Passengers recorded video and filed complaint Some passengers recorded the entire incident on their mobile phones and later sent the video to the railway authorities. On Friday (March 13), a formal complaint was submitted, stating that the youths’ actions blocked the passage and caused inconvenience to passengers. RPF registers case V.K. Yadav, in charge of the RPF post in Satna, said the video was received on Friday, and an investigation was conducted. He clarified that the dance itself was not found to be obscene, but since it caused inconvenience to passengers and obstructed movement in the coach, a case was registered under the Railway Act.
