There is a great opportunity for government jobs for the youth of Madhya Pradesh. The Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) has announced direct recruitment for 728 vacant posts of Forest Guard. Online applications can be submitted from today (February 28) till March 14. When to fill out the form? Applications for the recruitment exam will only be accepted online. Candidates can apply by visiting the website www.esb.mp.gov.in. According to department information, reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and Unreserved) have been determined for different posts to maintain social balance. Fees will be Rs 250 to Rs 500 According to MPESB, the fee for General category candidates is Rs 500 per question paper. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, and EWS (residents of Madhya Pradesh) will have to pay Rs 250 per question paper. Additionally, the last date for making corrections in the form is March 19, 2026. Who can apply? To apply, candidates must have passed Class 10 or Class 12 from a recognised institution in India. Age will be calculated as of January 1, 2026. The minimum age to apply is 18 years. However, candidates from reserved categories will be given age relaxation. Exams will be in two shifts, merit-based on marks The Forest Guard exam will be held on April 7, 2026, at various exam centers in Madhya Pradesh. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The second shift will be from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. After the exam, a merit list will be prepared based on the marks. Additionally, the exam will include questions related to Technical Subjects, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Basic Computer Knowledge. Aadhaar card mandatory for the exam Candidates must bring a valid identity card, including an Aadhaar card, to the examination center. For online application, candidates can visit the official website of the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board. Who will get the benefit of the reservation? On the posts of Forest Guard, unreserved (UR), Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), women, persons with disabilities, and ex-servicemen will be given the benefit of reservation as per government rules. How much salary will be received every month? Candidates will receive a salary of Rs 19,500 to Rs 62,000 per month.
