Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti’s family members have received bomb threats in Tikamgarh. Her daughter-in-law, District Panchayat President Umita Rahul Lodhi, has filed a complaint at the rural police station. Police have registered a case against an unknown accused and started an investigation. Umita Rahul Lodhi stated in her complaint that she had shared a post on social media on February 21. In this post, a threatening comment came from an ID named ‘GW Brijendra Kushwaha’ late at 10:30 PM on February 22. It stated, “We have hydrogen bombs.” We know how to make them… We will kill the politicians ourselves. In this comment, threats were made to kill Umita and her husband, former minister Rahul Lodhi, and blow them up with bombs. Umita Lodhi immediately took a screenshot of that comment. Just hours after the comment, two masked young men also arrived at their bungalow to threaten them. Comment made from ID named Brijendra Kushwah Your son will have to pay. We have a hydrogen bomb. We know how to make it… We will kill the politicians ourselves, we will kill you people and take you away… Will detonate with a hydrogen bomb after 30 days, find the corrupt ones before finding us, and you’ll be safe… Otherwise, we can do anything… Youth arrived with face covered at 11 PM That night, around 11 o’clock, when Umita Lodhi was at her bungalow in the Dehaat police station area, two unknown young men arrived in front of her bungalow. These young men had their faces covered with cloth. Umita Lodhi saw them from the balcony. It is alleged that as soon as the young men saw her, they started hurling abuses and repeated death threats. When Umita Lodhi raised an alarm, another person, Amar Singh, reached the spot, by then both accused had fled from there. Due to their covered faces, they could not be identified. She immediately informed her husband, Rahul Singh Lodhi, about this incident. Cyber Cell team engaged in investigation The next day, on February 23, she reached the Dehaat police station and filed a written complaint about the entire incident. Understanding the seriousness of the case, the police have registered an FIR against unknown accused under sections 296(B), 351(3), and 3(5). Police officials say that CCTV footage from the bungalow and surrounding areas is being examined to identify the suspects. Additionally, the cyber police team is investigating the social media ID from which this threat was made.
