Chhattisgarh beautician files FIR against four in Bhopal, alleges she was taken to pubs in revealing clothes A 30-year-old beautician from Chhattisgarh has accused three men of rape and a woman of pressuring her to change religion in Bhopal. After escaping from the accused, the woman lodged an FIR on Sunday night at Bag Sewania Police Station. Police have registered a case and begun investigation. The accused are currently absconding. Met at hotel, then started living together The beautician told police that on 31 December 2024 she met a woman at a friend’s birthday party at a hotel in Shahpura. Later, the two began living together. In January 2025, they shifted to the house of Amreen alias Mahira in Bag Sewania. After some time, the victim learnt that her friend had converted religion at Amreen’s insistence and married her brother. Rape allegation under pretext of outing The victim alleged that in August 2025, Amreen’s associate Chandan Yadav took her out on the pretext of introducing her to his sister, threatened her and raped her. He allegedly silenced her by threatening defamation and assaulted her multiple times at different occasions. She also alleged she was made to wear short clothes and taken to city pubs and lounges, where she was pressured to socialise with strangers. During this period, she was allegedly forced to convert and accept Islam. Allegation of rape after being drugged In November 2025, Amreen took her to meet relatives at Abbas Nagar in Gandhi Nagar. There, Amreen’s brother Bilal is accused of mixing an intoxicant in her tea and assaulting her while she was unconscious. When she protested, she was allegedly pressured to marry. Incident alleged in Ahmedabad as well In December 2025, Amreen took her to Ahmedabad on the pretext of personal work and introduced her to a man named Yasir. The victim alleged she was assaulted there as well. In January 2026, she left Bhopal and went to her maternal uncle’s house in Chhattisgarh. Complaint filed after contact with second victim Recently, during a conversation on social media, another woman made similar allegations against Amreen and her associates. After this, the victim came to Bhopal and lodged a complaint at Bag Sewania police station. Police have registered a case against four accused under charges of rape, intimidation and other relevant sections, and investigation is underway.
