In Surjani village of Mandsaur district, notorious history-sheeter smuggler Wahid alias Bhayyu Lala died under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday night. Bhayyu Lala was being searched by police from 3 states. It is being reported that during the police raid, he hid inside a divan (box bed) kept in the house to escape, where he died due to suffocation. Meanwhile, family members made serious allegations against the police, saying that the police entered the house and killed him. Blood was found flowing from Bhayyu Lala’s nose and ears. Police searched the house but couldn’t find him When family members opened the divan long after police left, he was found unconscious. He had suffocated due to lack of oxygen inside the box. Family members claim that police entered the house and severely beat up Bhayyu Lala. He died in this incident. In photos/videos that emerged after death, blood can be seen flowing from Bhayyu Lala’s nose and ears, which lends credence to the family’s allegations. They allege that the police not only beat Bhayyu Lala but also tried to destroy evidence. There were CCTV cameras installed in the house, but while leaving, the police also took its DVR with them so that the recording of the beating would not fall into anyone’s hands. He said – We received information about the incident through social media. Several serious cases were registered against the accused and the police were searching for him. Initially, death by suffocation appears to be the cause, but the real cause of death will only be clear after the post-mortem report arrives. However, Bhayyu managed to escape at that time as well. Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra police were searching for Bhayyu Lala. Recently, his name had prominently emerged in the drug trafficking network. Cases were also registered against him at the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Jodhpur, Kota and Neemuch.
