A serious incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon at the Shivratri fair being held in the Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple complex in Nagda. A swarm of bees attacked people riding a moving swing, leaving three children seriously injured. All three have been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Nagda’s government hospital. A video of the incident has also surfaced. Chaos as bees attack moving swing According to eyewitnesses, the swing was operating at full speed when bees suddenly began stinging those seated on it. Panic spread quickly as riders started screaming and shouting in fear. In an attempt to protect themselves, several people bent down in their seats and covered their faces with their clothes. The situation became so alarming that some individuals tried to climb down from the height while the swing was still in motion. The operator immediately brought the swing to a halt, but those who were still suspended in the air continued to be stung until it was fully lowered. Injured children identified The three seriously injured children have been identified as Umesh (13), Naitik (13), and Shivnarayan (15). All are residents of Banbana village and belong to the same family. Doctors have stated that one of the children remains in a critical condition after being stung in the eye and is currently under special medical observation. Investigation into source of bees The exact reason for the sudden appearance of the bees remains unclear. Following the incident, an atmosphere of panic gripped the fairgrounds. The local administration and the fair committee have initiated an investigation into the incident, including a review of the security and safety arrangements at the venue.
