Valentine’s Day turns tragic in Khandwa:Boyfriend stabbed by 3 harassers while trying to protect girlfriend

A young man was killed in a stabbing incident on Saturday night in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. It is being reported that Bhavesh, along with his 2 friends Mayank and Sachin, was harassing a couple celebrating Valentine’s Day, when the girl’s friend intervened. At that point, the youths pulled out knives and attacked. During the ensuing scuffle and intervention, Bhavesh Pal (19), who was harassing the couple, got stabbed in the chest, which led to his death. Meanwhile, Bhavesh’s friend Mayank was also injured. Mayank stated that the girl’s friend Harsh stabbed Bhavesh, which resulted in his death. Young couple was sitting by the highway After receiving information about the incident, Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar Rai inspected the scene late at night. According to police, the incident occurred near Krishna Dhaba in Rudhi village, about 8 kilometers from the city. There is a brick kiln in front of Krishna Dhaba along the main highway. A shed was built there, and the young couple was sitting near that shed. The young woman told police that Mayank, Bhavesh and Sachin approached after seeing us by the highway. The three young men harassed me. During this, when my friend Harsh tried to save me, the three men abused him. They beat up Harsh and hit his head with a brick. The young woman said that during the dispute, one of the men suddenly pulled out a knife. During the scuffle, they attacked Harsh’s hand with the knife, causing him serious injury. Meanwhile, two other young men were also injured. Meanwhile, deceased Bhavesh’s friend Mayank said that the girl’s friend Harsh stabbed Bhavesh in the chest. He was covered in blood. He was writhing in pain due to excessive bleeding. His friend died during treatment. Harsh attacked me too. I got injured in the waist. Case registered against both parties
Kotwali TI Praveen Arya said that the incident took place at 6 PM on Saturday. A case has been registered against both parties on Sunday morning at 4 AM. Based on the girl’s complaint, a case of harassment has been registered against the deceased and his 2 friends. Along with this, a murder case has been registered against the young woman’s friend Harsh Thapa. Harsh has been arrested. Currently the case is under investigation. Further action will be taken after investigation. The body will be handed over to the family after post-mortem.
