A 25-year-old woman fell from the first-floor balcony of her house in Indore on Saturday night. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the area. Police said the woman reportedly lost her balance while drying clothes. Chandan Nagar police station in-charge Tilak Karole said the incident took place in Green Park Colony near Khwaja Chowk. A father and son present at a shop on the ground floor saw the woman falling and immediately alerted her family members. Police said the injured woman, identified as Shifa, was questioned after the incident. Her family also told police that she had slipped and lost her balance while drying clothes. Police have recorded her statement. Shifa was married six months ago. Her husband, Mohammad Arif Abbasi, works at a garage. Her maternal home is in the Juna Risala area of the city. She suffered injuries to her face and limbs and was taken for treatment. Police said no foul play has been suspected so far.
