mother-poisons-three-daughters,-consumes-poison-herself:all-children-die-in-alirajpur;-woman-critical,-family-dispute-suspected

On Friday evening in the Mafidaar Faliya area of Adwara, Alirajpur district, Madhya Pradesh, a woman fed insecticide to her three daughters and then consumed poison herself. In this tragic incident, all three girls – Savitri, Kartika, and Divyaki – died, while the woman remains in critical condition. Family members rushed everyone to the district hospital, where one girl was declared dead. The other two were referred to Dahod, Gujarat, due to deteriorating condition, but they died on the way. At the time of the incident, the woman’s husband had gone to Gujarat for work. Police have registered a case and begun an investigation. Initially, a family dispute is suspected, although officials say all angles are being examined. SP Visited Deceased Children’s Home Superintendent of Police Raghuvansh Singh, along with Ambua police station in-charge Mohan Dawar and the team, reached the site and spoke with the family of the deceased. They inquired about how long the girls’ father had been away in Gujarat for work. The family said he had left about a month ago and had rented farmland there. The SP asked if there had been any recent disputes between the couple, or if the father, Mukesh, had remarried, and whether any family tensions had occurred in the past two to four days. Mukesh and Nuribai were married in 2016. Their eldest daughter Savitri was 7, Kartik was 5, and Divya was 3 years old. SP Raghuvansh Singh said the reason behind the incident is still under investigation. “I personally visited Nuribai’s home and discussed the matter with her brother-in-law and in-laws,” he added.
