JCB driver tries to crush engineer at Indore Metro site:Machine lunges after argument, he falls, crawls out, survives as driver advances again

An attempt was made to run over an engineer with a JCB machine in Indore. The engineer stepped back at the last moment and saved his life. The incident took place Tuesday at the Aerodrome site of the Metro Rail project. Its video surfaced on Wednesday. Police have taken suo motu cognisance and begun an investigation. The video shows a heated argument between the JCB driver and the engineer at the metro site over some issue. During the exchange, the driver moves the machine forward and turns its bucket toward the engineer. The engineer falls down while trying to बच himself. The driver then lowers the bucket, apparently attempting to pin him underneath. The engineer moves back and escapes, then crawls out from beneath the machine and runs. The driver again advances the JCB toward him. However, on hearing people shouting at the spot, the driver stops the machine. Eyewitnesses say the dispute between the two was related to work at the site. No complaint filed, police probing
The engineer has not filed a complaint against the JCB driver. However, after the video surfaced, police became active. Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya said action was initiated based on the viral video. Police are also trying to trace the engineer. After investigation, a case will be registered against those found guilty and further action will follow.
