Three people lost their lives, while six others sustained injuries in a head on collission between a pickup truck and a bike near Baru Fatak, between Baru Fatak and Thikri on late Thursday night. Accident details According to Thikri police, two young men, Vinod Muzalde (19) and Rajesh Muzalde (22), were riding a bike (MP 46 MH 6678) from Thikri towards Julwania when a pickup truck (MP 42 G 1559) travelling from Baru Fatak towards Thikri collided with them. The impact was so severe that the bike’s front wheel detached and was thrown several meters away. Both Vinod and Rajesh, residents of Raswan village in Balkawada, died on the spot. See pictures of the accident Pickup passenger dies A female passenger in the pickup, Roshni Saste (20), a resident of Samartalai, Thikri police area, also succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Injured transferred to hospital The collision caused the pickup to overturn, seriously injuring two women: Roshni Dwar (19) and Kesari Bai (42), both from Samartalai. They received initial treatment at the scene and were referred to Barwani District Hospital for further care. Four others sustained minor injuries: Lalita Dwar (17, Samartalai), Sharmila (30, Rupkheda), Hiralal Lal (30, Rupkheda), and Bablu Singh (18, Rupkheda). The pickup was carrying approximately seven passengers who were returning home from Rajpur after completing work on a house’s rooftop.
