An LPG cylinder exploded at a hotel in the hill station of Pachmarhi on Monday morning around 8:30 AM. The blast was so powerful that it was felt as far as 20 meters away at Pandav Retreat. The hotel sustained significant damage. Four members of a family from Buldhana, Maharashtra, staying at the Sincerity Hotel were injured in the accident. A cook also suffered burn injuries. Pachmarhi police station in-charge Padam Singh Maurya, along with his team, rushed to the scene. The injured were taken to Pachmarhi Hospital for treatment. The Sincerity Hotel is located just 200 meters from the Pachmarhi police station. Sources say the hotel belongs to a senior official of the Forest Department and is currently being rented out by Tushar Jaiswal, the brother of a Congress leader. The police are investigating the incident.
