10-month-old baby girl drowns in bucket in Bhopal:Slips into bathroom while playing; mother finds her after 10 minutes

A 10-month-old baby girl died after drowning in a bucket filled with water in Bhopal. The incident occurred around 10:30 PM on Wednesday in a flat at PNB Colony, Idgah Hills. While playing, the baby went into the bathroom and fell headfirst into the bucket. About 10 minutes later, her mother found her, by which time the baby’s face had turned blue. According to information, Karan Singh Jatav lives in the flat with his wife, their 5-year-old son, and the infant. The mother immediately informed her husband, and the couple rushed the baby to Hamidia Hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Police reached the spot, took the body into custody, sent it to the mortuary, registered a case of accidental death, and initiated an investigation.
