Agar Malwa police carried out a raid on a drug factory in Rajasthan, seizing goods worth around Rs 5 crore, including narcotics. Three accused have been arrested in the operation, which was conducted jointly with the Jhalawar police of Rajasthan. SP Vinod Kumar Singh said that on January 20, drug peddler Faizan was arrested near Susner. Police recovered 330 grams of MD drug worth Rs 33 lakh from his possession. During questioning, Faizan revealed that he used to procure drugs from Tahir Khan, a resident of Ghatakhedi in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan, who manufactures drugs at his house. On the night of January 27, the team raided Tahir Khan’s house in Ghatakhedi. The house was found locked from the outside. Both were arrested on the spot, while the main accused, Tahir Khan, is currently absconding. Large quantity of Narcotics and weaponswere recovered During the search, police recovered 1 kg of smack, 2 kg of MD, 2 kg of ketamine and narcotic injections from the drug manufacturing unit operating inside the residential house. A machine used for making narcotics was also seized, along with a muzzle-loading gun and an air gun. The total value of the seized material is estimated to be around Rs 5 crore. Remand to be sought for further interrogation SP Vinod Kumar Singh said the arrested accused are being produced before the court, and police remand is being sought. He added that further interrogation could lead to major revelations regarding the wider drug network and its supply chain.
