According to police, some young men were playing obscene songs at high volume in the gym. During this, a young woman who was working out requested them to change the songs or lower the volume. The young men ignored her request. Rishi Mishra, who was present with the young woman, also politely repeated the same request, which angered the accused youth. It is being reported that the accused united and attacked Rishi Mishra and beat him up. The attackers struck his head with a dumbbell, causing him serious injuries. Young woman tried to intervene

The injured Rishi Mishra was immediately admitted to a private hospital for treatment, where his treatment is ongoing. Sub-inspector Upendra Tripathi said that based on the complaint, a case has been registered against 6 youths under relevant sections and investigation has been started. Further action will be taken based on CCTV footage and statements of eyewitnesses.
