The central government has not released a single rupee to 25 departments of Madhya Pradesh between April 1 and January 20 of the current financial year. Even departments linked to Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have failed to secure funds. Madhya Pradesh was to receive Rs 44,355.83 crore this year. After ten months, only Rs 9,753.05 crore has been released. This is just 22 per cent of the total amount. Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav has repeatedly asked ministers to meet central ministers in Delhi. Despite this, funds have not arrived. Under the National Health Mission, Rs 1,035.58 crore has been received against Rs 2,652.94 crore. Under the PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, Rs 521.87 crore has been released against an allocation of Rs 285.80 crore. Urban development performs worst Pending funds include: Education funds largely unreleased School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh has failed to bring major funds. No money has been released from the Rs 258 crore allocated for PM Shri schools. Under Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Rs 1,460.75 crore has been received out of Rs 3,321.99 crore. The Rs 100.80 crore STARS project has received nothing. The Law and Legislative Affairs Department received only Rs 15.28 crore out of Rs 101.47 crore for POCSO fast-track courts. Nutrition and Anganwadi Schemes Hit The Women and Child Development Department has received partial funds. Under PM Matru Vandana Yojana, Rs 55.26 crore has been received against Rs 211.20 crore. No funds were released for the Rs 583 crore Special Nutrition Scheme. Under Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0, Rs 759.29 crore has been received out of Rs 3,263.59 crore. Another Rs 133.86 crore under Poshan Abhiyan remains unpaid. Minister Nirmala Bhuria has not visited Delhi to pursue the funds. Rural development falls short despite big names Despite Shivraj Singh Chouhan at the Centre and Prahlad Patel in the state, rural development funds remain inadequate. Only Rs 1,987.16 crore has been received for PM Awas Yojana. Under other schemes: No funds have been received for: Tribal welfare and social justice also neglected The Tribal Affairs Department has not received funds for: No amount has been released In the Social Justice Department, Rs 157.25 crore has been received for widow pensions against Rs 400 crore. For old-age pensions, Rs 372.88 crore has been released out of Rs 1,152.19 crore. The Food and Civil Supplies Department has received nothing against Rs 312.50 crore meant for transport reimbursement under the PDS.
