A major accident occurred on Sunday night at the under-construction bridge by NHI in the Lalpur–New Bhedaghat area of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. One of the three workers present at the site died after a pillar centring became unstable and collapsed, while two others were injured. Amritlal Sahu, Project Director of NHI, stated that the accident took place around 8:30 pm on Sunday night. The injured workers have been sent to the Medical College Hospital for treatment. Upon receiving the information, police and administrative officials reached the site immediately. The cause of the accident is under investigation. For now, the construction work has been halted.
