The Dalit Pichra Samaj Sangathan has submitted an application to the Bhopal Police Commissioner, complaining about the statements of storyteller Pandit Dhirendra Shastri and requesting the registration of an FIR. The Dalit Pichra Samaj Sangathan (DPSS) has demanded the registration of an FIR against storyteller Dhirendra Shastri regarding serious offenses that are dangerous for society and human life. In this regard, the organization has submitted separate written complaints to the Director General of Police (DGP) of Madhya Pradesh and the Bhopal Police Commissioner. DPSS stated in its application that these complaints have been made under Section 173(4) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, due to the lack of effective action on complaints at the local level. An FIR should be registered against Dhirendra Shastri. Damodar Yadav said: An FIR should be filed against Dhirendra Shastri National President of Dalit Pichra Samaj Sangathan and National Core Committee member of Bhim Army, Damodar Yadav, held a press conference and said- Our workers have complained about Dhirendra Shastri to the DGP and Police Commissioner with evidence. They have provided videos in the form of QR codes as evidence, which are uploaded on his channels. Shastri is spreading superstition and keeping people away from medical science Damodar Yadav said- We have demanded that Dhirendra Shastri is spreading communalism, untouchability, and superstition, keeping people away from medical science, which is causing people’s deaths. This is a crime under various sections including 196-197, 202-272. Action and an FIR should be filed against him. Police officials have assured us that they will investigate and take action within two days. Otherwise, we will work to initiate action against Dhirendra Shastri through the Jabalpur High Court. Shastri is intimidating in the name of the moon in the tricolor Damodar Yadav said- Yesterday, Dhirendra Shastri stated that some people want to see the moon inside the tricolor. I will answer them that we neither want to see the moon in the tricolor nor the swastika inside the tricolor. We want to see the Ashoka Chakra, which is inside the tricolor. Your dream of wanting to create a swastika under the guise of the moon, we will not let that happen either. This country will run according to the Constitution of India. Will take out a journey from Nagpur to Gwalior We are starting a ‘Sankalp Yatra’ (resolution journey) from Nagpur, the initiation land of Baba Saheb. Its first phase will conclude upon reaching Bhopal. That journey will go up to Gwalior. Everyone knows that the issue of Baba Saheb’s statue in the Gwalior High Court campus has become very controversial. A situation of class struggle persists in Gwalior-Chambal. That’s why we are taking out this journey, we will reach Gwalior before March 15, the birth anniversary of Kanshiram ji. Before Kanshiram Saheb’s birth anniversary, the government should install Baba Saheb’s statue, otherwise, we will install the statue there. On the 29th, the journey will arrive at Board Office Square in Bhopal, where hundreds of people will gather and go to the Chief Minister’s residence to submit a memorandum to the CM. Accusation of inciting communal animosity The complaint states that in a video (Patrika MP), Dhirendra Shastri openly urged people to “take up arms” and demolish houses outside the legal process. According to the organization, this statement promotes violence, hatred, and anarchy in society. DPSS states that this act is a punishable offense under BNS Section 196 (Animosity between groups) and Section 197 (Acts against national integration). Promotion of False Cures The organization has alleged that on a TV channel (Sanskar TV), Dhirendra Shastri claimed to guarantee a 100% cure for Stage-4 cancer using cow urine and turmeric. Concurrently, scientific medical practices were discouraged. According to DPSS, this is a clear violation of BNS Section 272 (Malignant Act) and Sections 3 and 4 of the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act, 1954, which prohibits the promotion of miraculous cures for fatal diseases like cancer. Serious case of deaths due to negligence The complaint mentions the death of a woman named Neelam Devi, whose family, trusting Dhirendra Shastri’s alleged false miraculous assurances, abandoned life-saving treatment like dialysis for five months and performed rituals at the Dham, leading to the woman’s death.
