Indian players enjoyed a jungle safari in Nagpur ahead of the five-match T20I series against New Zealand. Captain Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, Ravi Bishnoi and Rinku Singh were among those who went on a safari. India will face New Zealand in a five-match T20I series, the first of which starts on 21 January at the Vidarbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium in Jamtha. This will be the last T20I assignment for both teams before the T20 World Cup next month. Ravi Bishnoi, who was recently added to the team for the series, took to Snapchat to share glimpses of their trip. One of these clips shared by Bishnoi also included one where the cricketers were seen walking through the jungle at night. Sanju Samson also shared a video on Instagram that captured some moments of their jungle safari in Nagpur. While the T20I series starts in Nagpur, the second match will be played in Raipur (23 January) followed by the third one in Guwahati (25 January). Visakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram will host the fourth and fifth T20Is, on 28 and 31 January, respectively. India’s last T20I series against New Zealand in 2023, where the Men in Blue had won a three-match series 2-1, under Hardik Pandya’s captaincy.
