In Ujjain’s LP Bhargav Nagar area, two unidentified miscreants set a businessman’s car on fire outside his house in the early hours of Monday. The vehicle was completely destroyed in the incident, which occurred in a posh residential locality and has raised concerns over local security arrangements. Businessman’s vehicle targeted The car belonged to Naresh Dhanwani, a resident of LP Bhargav Nagar, who is engaged in the garment and real estate business. His car (registration number MP-13 P 1313) was parked outside his house when the incident took place between 2.30 am and 3 am on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. Miscreants arrived on motorcycle, CCTV captures act CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, showing two unidentified men arriving on a motorcycle with white cloths wrapped around them. One of the men got off the bike, smashed the car’s window and poured a flammable substance inside before setting it on fire. The second man was seen recording the entire incident on his mobile phone. Fire brigade douses flames, but vehicle beyond repair As soon as the fire was noticed, local residents informed the police and the fire brigade. A fire tender reached the spot and managed to control the blaze, but by then the car had been completely gutted. Earlier damage to another car reported Dhanwani said this was not the first incident. On Thursday night, an unidentified person had broken the window of his MG Hector car, which was parked in the courtyard of his house. He had lodged a complaint at Madhav Nagar police station, but alleged that no immediate action was taken.
