Deadly Chinese manja strikes Indore again:2 people injured within 30 minutes; bike rider dies, NEET student rushed for surgery

A young man riding a bike in Indore died after his throat was cut by Chinese manjha. The accident happened on Sunday evening around 5:30 pm between Kanadia and Tilak Nagar, police said. The deceased has been identified as Raghuveer Dhakad, a resident of Om Sai Vihar Colony in Bicholi Mardana. He was seriously injured and was rushed to hospital, where he died during treatment. Family members said Raghuveer worked as a tile contractor. Although it was a Sunday holiday, he had gone on his bike to check a work site. While returning home, his neck got caught in Chinese manjha near Shakuntala Hospital. People passing by saw him injured and informed his family using his mobile phone. In Indore itself, on Sapna-Sangeeta Road, around 5:30 PM, Narendra Jamod, who was preparing for NEET, had his throat cut by a Chinese kite string. He was coming home on a bike with his friend Anil Chauhan. Anil took him to a private hospital for treatment. Originally from near Dehri in Dhar district, Narendra is living in Indore and preparing for exams. 43 stitches had to be put in the child’s ear in Chhindwara
Meanwhile, in Chhindwara district, a 9-year-old child’s ear was also cut by Chinese kite string. On Sunday, while playing outside the house, Atharv Karade was caught in Chinese kite string. His family immediately took him to the hospital, where doctors put 43 stitches in his ear. Atharv is currently under observation.
