In Kolaras town of Shivpuri, women’s alertness stopped a theft on the night of December 31. A thief entered Raju Kushwah’s house near Rameshwar Dham, but a woman chased him and knocked him down at the door. Hearing the noise, the family tied the thief with a rope and handed him over to the police. CCTV footage captured the entire incident, including the thief’s entry and attempt to flee. The family had been cautious after thieves stole a tractor battery from the same house on December 30, and Raju Kushwah had filed a complaint with the police. Later handed over to the police According to family members, the caught thief also provided information about other thieves and scrap dealers related to previous thefts.
