Love affair turns fatal for school teacher:Anganwadi worker’s wife, with her lover; suffocates husband and dumps body in ditch to stage accident

Sheopur police on Thursday arrested three people in the murder of 49-year-old teacher Ramakant Pathak. Shockingly, the accused include the teacher’s wife. Inspector Yasmin Khan of Karahal police said the arrested are 24-year-old Manish Saket, 37-year-old Satnam Singh, and 37-year-old Sadhana Sharma, who works as an Anganwadi worker. Ramakant Pathak’s body was found on December 27, 2025, near Kasalah turn in Karahal Valley. Police investigation revealed that Sadhana Sharma planned her husband’s murder along with her lover Manish Saket. In this conspiracy, Manish also involved his friend Satnam Singh. The accused took Ramakant Pathak in a car on the pretext of going to Sesaipura. Before Kasalah Valley, they made him get out of the car in the jungle under the pretense of using the bathroom and struck him on the head with a stick from behind. When he became unconscious, the accused took him down the valley and killed him by covering his mouth. They kept his mouth covered until he stopped breathing. To make it look like an accident, the body was thrown towards the slope at Karahal Valley turn near Thakur Baba temple. Based on the accused’s identification, the Swift Dzire car used in the murder and other evidence have been seized. All arrested accused were presented in court. From there they were sent to jail.
