A flyover on the Bhopal–Indore State Highway will be completed within a year to ease traffic congestion. A junction will also be constructed at Fanda, allowing vehicles to move smoothly without traffic bottlenecks. The Bairagarh flyover is nearing completion, while plans are also underway to expand the Rose Garden in the area. MLA inspects flyover and FOB works Huzur MLA Rameshwar Sharma on Saturday inspected three foot overbridges (FOBs) under construction in the constituency. He also reviewed the progress of the six-lane flyover being built on Bhopal–Indore Road at Bairagarh at a cost of ₹305 crore. During the inspection, instructions were issued for shifting sewage lines and streetlights, and for widening service roads. Railway work on Phatak Road flyover to finish by April The MLA reviewed the flyover construction on Bairagarh’s Phatak Road. Railway officials informed that work in their jurisdiction has been accelerated and will be completed by March–April. Sharma also inspected the drainage work under the flyover and directed officials to develop a proper and systematic drainage system. Sant Hirdaram rose garden to be expanded During his visit to the Sant Hirdaram Rose Garden in Bairagarh, Sharma said the plantation of roses has enhanced the area’s appeal. The garden has become a popular spot for morning and evening walks. He added that water sports activities are planned to begin here next month. Pond beautification and infrastructure works reviewed The MLA inspected pond beautification and rest ghat reconstruction work in Bhaunri. A site was also identified in village Bairagarh for setting up an electrical substation. Instructions were issued for electrification work and road construction in the newly developed settlement. Six-lane bypass flyover targeted for December 2026 Sharma also reviewed the six-lane flyover being constructed at the Bhopal Bypass junction. Once completed, it will ease traffic for vehicles travelling from Bhopal towards Indore and Ujjain. The project is targeted for completion by December 2026. Focus on local development and employment The MLA inspected the shopping complex being constructed by the panchayat in Mugalia Chhap, which will be expanded to promote self-reliance and create local employment. He also reviewed construction work of the Panchayat Bhawan and Mangal Bhawan in Kalkheda. Additionally, Sharma inspected houses being built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana by the Bhopal Municipal Corporation in Kalkheda. He directed officials to construct an approach road and ensure a dedicated drinking water supply for the complex. Nilbad sewage and beautification works reviewed In Nilbad, the MLA inspected Vishram Ghat construction, pond beautification, and ongoing sewage works in several colonies. He instructed officials to ensure timely completion and proper quality of work.
