The criminals, armed with slingshots, crowbars, and pistols, broke into two jewellery shops and looted goods worth several lakhs. During the incident, the robbers attacked 75-year-old Gopalchand Soni, who was sleeping inside his shop, with a crowbar. Soni raised an alarm and secured the shop from inside, preventing the intruders from entering and saving his life. Loot and damage The robbers first targeted Rajendra Vijayvargiya’s shop. They then moved to nearby Shri Bageshwar Jewelers, breaking the cabinet and stealing ₹32,000, 200 grams of silver, and tools. Despite families living above the shops, the criminals carried out the robbery fearlessly.
