A video of 19-year-old female student goes viral after she allegedly ends her life under the Hira Nagar police station area in Indore.
In the viral clip, the student, Priyanshi Rao, is seen crying and saying she was deeply distressed and felt betrayed. She names two individuals, Naveen and Bhoomi, seeking punishment for them, and says, “They have driven me mad. I cannot live without Naveen… sorry.” Suicide case and police action Priyanshi, a student of Sage University and a resident of the Hiranagar police station area, died by suicide on November 24 by hanging herself. Based on the video and mobile chats recovered from her phone, police have named Naveen Gour, a resident of Narmadapuram, and his associate Bhoomi as accused in the case. According to Hira Nagar Police Station In-charge Sushil Patel, Bhoomi was arrested on December 20 and produced before the court, which sent her to jail. Naveen is currently absconding, and efforts are underway to trace him. Video and chats found on mobile phone Police said no suicide note was found at the scene. However, a video and several messages were recovered from Priyanshi’s mobile phone. The messages reveal conversations between Priyanshi, Naveen, and Bhoomi. Investigators found that Bhoomi repeatedly contacted Priyanshi through calls and messages, allegedly pressuring her to stop pursuing Naveen. It also emerged that Naveen had taken money from Priyanshi for investment in a café business. Lived separately before death Police stated that due to alleged harassment by Naveen and Bhoomi, Priyanshi vacated the room she shared with Naveen and began living separately in Meghdoot Nagar. About a week before her death, she rented a new room with the help of relatives. Around the same time, Naveen left for Narmadapuram, after which tensions reportedly escalated between Priyanshi and Bhoomi. Background of the student Priyanshi was originally from Dewas. She had two sisters—one living with their parents and the other studying in Bhopal. According to her family, Priyanshi was suffering from depression in the days leading up to her death. Police say the investigation is ongoing, and further action will be taken once the absconding accused is apprehended.
