Today, two heavy cargo vehicles caught fire on the Mumbai-Agra four-lane highway in Manpur, Mhow. Due to this incident, a long traffic jam occurred on the road and traffic was completely disrupted. Upon receiving information, police and fire department teams reached the spot. They are engaged in efforts to control the fire and normalize the disrupted traffic. After the fire broke out, there was an atmosphere of panic in the area for some time. According to Manpur police station in-charge Lokendra Hihor, a truck carrying oil paint was travelling from Julwania towards Indore. The driver stopped at a roadside dhaba to have tea. Within moments, the blaze intensified rapidly. The fire soon spread to another heavy vehicle that was parked behind it, turning both vehicles into massive fireballs. Locals attempt to control blaze People present at the spot immediately tried to extinguish the fire. Meanwhile, fire tenders from Manpur and Mhow reached the scene and, after nearly an hour of strenuous effort, managed to bring the fire under control. The police have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire.
